Suitable for G-Series Models, this direct replacement radiator upgrade utilises the available space behind the front bumper to introduce a radiator that’s taller, wider and thicker. As a result, the radiator’s overall volume is increased by 49% over standard to hugely improve cooling ability, whilst frontal area is also increased by 13% to help cool the extra capacity. Information As part of our expanding BMW platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our auxiliary radiator upgrade (pair) for the G87 M2, G80/G81 M3 & G82/G83 M4 models for fast road or track use. AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to improving the auxiliary radiator was to utilise the available space behind the front bumper and develop a direct replacement radiator that’s wider, taller and thicker. This means capacity is increased by a 49% over standard, whilst frontal area is also increased by 13% to help cool the extra capacity. The original radiators also feature a large, restrictive plastic protection mesh, which could potentially restrict flow at high speed, so our radiators feature our own less restrictive mesh that maintains good airflow whilst still offering protection against road debris. The original also uses plastic end tanks which can become brittle and leak with heat cycles and age, where is our solution features aluminium tanks. Despite the significant increases and improvements, the radiators fit neatly behind the bumper and requires no modifications to fit, using the OEM rubber mounts and the original coolant connectors, scoops and air ducts. Finished in a high-quality powder-coated black finish, the radiators come as a pair and also include a detailed installation guide.
