1970s Gold Chain Rope Necklace with Faceted Glass Beads

This original 1970s necklace is very long and formed from a single chain of hammered gold-tone metal, punctuated at intervals by pairs of glass coloured faceted beads and rhinestone-set metal spacer rings. Each pair of beads is a different colour, including crimson red, fuchsia pink, amber, aqua, amethyst, periwinkle blue and black, creating a vivid contrast against the warm gold-tone finish. The necklace fastens with a matching metal spring clasp. There is no maker's mark although the necklace is very fine quality and in excellent vintage condition.
