ALPINE PWV-SB10 BASSREV SERIES 10INCH DUAL 2OHM 400RMS POWERED SUBWOOFER
Introducing BassRev – Born from Alpine’s decades-long expertise in acoustic engineering, featuring all-new technology to deliver controlled bass frequencies while preserving Alpine’s signature clarity and precision. BassRev components utilise Alpine’s all-new proprietary bass algorithm OPTIM™Sync, preloaded within the integrated DSP amplifier for subwoofers and accessible for BassRev speakers via the OPTIM™8 DSP Amplifier. OPTIM™Sync intelligently applies dynamic bass boost and pre-EQ tailored specifically for each BassRev audio component, safely extending low-end performance and smoothing tone to unlock their full potential. Integrated High Power Class-D Amplifier BassRev Powered Subwoofers feature an integrated Class-D Amplifier with a suite of features such as Phase Control, Hi-Level & RCA input, Low Pass Filter, Gain Control and Turn-on Mode Selection. In addition, a plug type adaptor is included for reliable cable termination and secure power connection. Premium and Robust MDF Enclosure Built for daily use, the PWV-SB10’s carpeted MDF enclosure and double-brace structure stay solid and rattle-free, even when you turn it up. Furthermore, the extended grille shields the woofer from kicks, pets, and sliding cargo, while the Alpine-embroidered top keeps the install looking premium. Groundbreaking X-Max BassRev Subwoofers are equipped with a durable and ultra-wide rubber surround, accomodating for maximum linear cone excursion and high SPL whilst still maintaining audio precision and clarity. Seamless Factory & Aftermarket System Integration Alpine’s PWV-SB10 is designed to seamlessly integrate with factory and aftermarket audio visual systems. From a functional and aesthetic perspective, Alpine’s PWV-SB10 maintains the clean look of your interior whilst delivering exceptional sound performance. Speaker Level Input: The Alpine powered subwoofer can accept low-level or speaker-level input signals, making it easier to add the amplifier to a factory radio or to a receiver with no preamp outputs. Two RCA-to-speaker wire adapters are included for connecting high-level signals. Auto Turn-on: If using the speaker level input, an automatic circuit turns the amplifier on when it senses an input signal. When using the line level inputs you must also use a remote turn on lead. Controls & Connections: All of the PWV-SB10 connections and controls are located on a control panel on one side of the enclosure: Turn-On Mode: A 3-way switch determines the turn-on method; DC, REM (Hi-level), REM (Lo-level) Gain: rotary control; range Min-Max. Low Pass Filter: rotary control; frequency cutoff range: 50-200 Hz Phase: two position switch; 0° or 180° Connections: Terminal Block: A removable terminal block provides the power, ground, and remote turn-on inputs, accepting up to 4-gauge wire (power/ground) and 8-gauge wire (turn-on). RCA: Left and right RCA jacks can accept low-level signals ranging from 200 mV to 2 V, and speaker-level signals ranging from 500 mV to 10 V. Remote Control: An RJ-14 jack lets you connect an optional Alpine RUX-KNOB.2 remote level control (sold separately) for adjusting the bass level separate from your main speakers. The remote has a range of 0 (max) to -20 dB (min). USB-C: Used for updating the firmware on the PWV-SB10. The USB-C port cannot be used for playing audio or powering USB devices. Indicators: Power: A power LED will light Blue when the amplified enclosure is powered on and operating nominally. Protect: A protect LED will light Red if a problem is detected, including a short circuit, high temperature, and over-voltage on the power input. Specifications: RMS Power Handling: 400W Peak Power Handling: 800W Nominal Impedance: 2ohms (4ohms+4ohms) Frequency Response: 31Hz-200Hz Phase Control: 0° / 180° Voice Coil: dual 4Ω voice coils (4 Ω + 4 Ω) Low-Pass Filter: 50–200 Hz, −24 dB/octave (variable) Inputs: High-level (0.5–10 V) and RCA (0.2–2.0 V) Mounting Dimensions: 470mm (W) x 283mm (H) x 127mm (D) Keep in mind: This sub does not include wiring, so you’ll need to purchase an 8-gauge wiring kit You’ll need to wire this sub to your battery
