Momoe Shimano & SONOMI to Release a 7-Inch Cover of Anzen Chitai’s Classic “Koi no Yokan”, Produced by DJ KRUTCH with Remix by Goro Kumai. Momoe Shimano & SONOMI’s cover of Anzen Chitai’s iconic track “Koi no Yokan” is set to be released on 7-inch vinyl on September 30, 2026. Digital distribution will also begin on the same day. Originally written by Yosui Inoue (lyrics) and Koji Tamaki (music), “Koi no Yokan” has been reinterpreted by two leading figures of the Japanese R&B scene—Momoe Shimano, a pioneer who has helped shape the genre, and SONOMI, an artist widely supported across the hip-hop and R&B spectrum. The production is handled by DJ KRUTCH. The A-side features a re-arranged version by DJ KRUTCH, blending the layered vocals of Momoe Shimano and SONOMI into a rich and immersive rendition of “Koi no Yokan.” The B-side includes a remix by Goro Kumai, offering a fresh interpretation. Both sides retain the essence and charm of the original composition, while showcasing new dimensions brought to life by DJ KRUTCH and Goro Kumai, making this a compelling and well-rounded release.
