Waubs Harbour Port Storm maritime whisky, 48%, Batch 12. This is one for those whisky lovers who are looking for something full of flavour that’s a little bit different. It’s big & rich from maturing in ex-Tawny Port French Oak casks but has beautiful complexity and vanilla notes from a touch of ex-Bourbon American Oak influence. "Notes of poached pear and sultana, brown sugar syrup layered with hot custard.. At 48%, the salty brininess amplifies and balances the sweetness while adding complexity to the oak."
