Instructors: Kaleigh Swift Class Type: Social Hour | These are our "education lite" classes--a fun, social atmosphere where you'll walk away with new information, but are still able to enjoy time with your friends in a casual setting. WHAT YOU'LL GET IN THIS CLASS: a welcome beverage and instructor-led mini flight of sherry and pintxos tasting stations with more sherry and pintxos special pricing on all featured sherries Like a lot of things your grandparents enjoyed, Sherry is hip again! But for many of us, Sherry never went anywhere. (Don't call it a comeback!) It's cheap and cheerful with unrivalled versatility. Bone-dry fino, salty manzanilla, raisiny sweet oloroso, ranging from delicate and ethereal to heady and intense. (No, your grandmother's creamed Sherry won't be making an appearance). Join us for a casual evening of education about this special fortified wine as we indulge in some pintxos alongside them. Think of Pinxtos like Basque tapas or appetizers like pan con tomate, tortilla de patatas, boquerones, and more. You'll start off with a welcome pairing of a sherry with a pinxto to enjoy on our rooftop patio (weather permitting), before a brief seated flight of sherries. Afterwards, you'll move to tasting stations throughout the Event Space to enjoy more sherries and pintxos. IMPORTANT STUFF: Participants must be 21 years old. Tickets are non-refundable. If given a minimum of two days (48-hour) notice, we can issue you a class credit or transfer your tickets to a future class. Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences. Due to the nature of this class though (this is Spanish food after all), we may not be able to meet all dietary restrictions or make substitutions. Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S. France 44 is wheelchair accessible.
