U-Bracket

This U Bracket is designed for customers upgrading older MAXIM toolboxes fitted with the original-style lock system. Because the old lock design is not directly compatible with the newer replacement locks, this bracket acts as an adaptor to allow the new lock to be fitted correctly and securely. Please note: This bracket is only required for certain older toolbox models using the previous-generation lock setup. If your toolbox already uses the newer lock style, this bracket is not needed. Does the lock you're replacing look like this? If the lock your replacing looks like the one in the image above you will need a U-Bracket.
