It represents the transitional period, approximately between 1905 and 1915 when glass manufacturers were starting to use automated machine made glass (notice the mold seems), but still using cork closures. It is marked on the bottom "S&D 38", made by Sharp & Dohme in Baltimore, MD. This is a heavy bottle, please keep this in mind at check-out. How To Use: Would make a nice gift for a bottle collector, or Apothecary collector. Displays beautifully as a flower vase or to collect pennies, or other small items. A collection of old bottles makes a cool home decor display. Dimensions: 11.25 inches Tall, approx. 5.0 inches in Diameter. Material: Amber Glass Condition: Antique - Used. Very Good Antique Condition. There are no chips or scratches on this piece. There are some glass bubbles, very common in these old bottles. We didn't clean this bottle since many like the patina of old unwashed glass, but it's fairly clean.
