SV AUSTRIA SALZBURG – AWAY SHIRT 2025/2026 SV Austria Salzburg is a professional Austrian club, based in the attractive city of Salzburg. Violette (The Violet-Whites) were formed in 2005 in protest to their original club being acquired by Red Bull (Red Bull Salzburg). Austria Salzburg started in the 7th tier of football in Austria. They rose through the leagues with four successive championships, to reach the third tier in 2010. In 2015, the club secured another promotion to the Erste Liga (the 2nd division) but were relegated the following season. Before the acquisition by Red Bull, Salzburg had won the Austrian Bundesliga three times and reached the 1993/1994 UEFA Cup Final. The club wore this away shirt in the 2025/2026 season as they finished 9th in the Admiral 2nd League, which is Austria's second tier of professional football The stunning design was produced in collaboration with local tattoo artist Markus Linher, who created motifs inspired by the club, its history, fans and local culture to form the stunning, unique pattern seen on the shirt.
