Curly Birch Kuksa, Järv
Casström kuksas are a celebration of Nordic tradition and craftsmanship. Proudly made i the far north of Sweden. Each cup is carved from beautifully figured curly birch — a characterful wood prized for its flowing grain patterns — and comes with a hand-twisted reindeer leather cord. In this stained version, the outer surface has been carefully darkened to deepen contrast and bring the grain to life, revealing striking patterns that shift with the light. The result is a kuksa with real visual depth and presence, where no two pieces are ever the same. To protect and preserve the wood, the outside of the kuksa is finished with food-safe Osmo TopOil. This creates a durable seal while adding a subtle, refined sheen — a soft gloss that enhances the sense of quality without taking away the natural feel of the wood. Smooth in the hand and rich in appearance, it is equally at home on a mountain hike or beside a fire at camp. The kuksa is the traditional wooden drinking vessel of the north, carried for generations across Scandinavia as a trusted companion in the outdoors. Simple, functional, and deeply connected to nature, it reflects a way of life shaped by forests, weather, and wilderness. A Casström Kuksa is more than a cup — it is a piece of living tradition, designed to accompany years of outdoor moments and quietly grow more personal with every use.
