His latest solo project, *Bully*—which he describes as a “concept album” and was created during his stay in Tokyo beginning in 2024—is now available on cassette. Departing from his recent large-scale collaborations with external artists, Ye took the lead on self-production throughout the entire album. As heard in the previously released tracks “Preacher Man” and “Beauty and the Beast,” the album centers on soulful sampling sources while featuring minimalist beat structures stripped of ornamentation.
