In this class we will learn how to repair these holes by machine and by hand so that you can confidently live a hole-free life with your favorite tees. Jeans / pants rubbed bare It happens to the best of us: our gorgeous thighs cannot be contained and wear down the insides of our jeans. Yikes! Fortunately, there are solutions to be had. We'll explore two methods of repair - a more "invisible" method via machine and a popular visible mending technique. Hem pants Tired of paying for a quick fix that you feel you should be able to do yourself? Now you can! We will learn how to execute two types of hems: a topstitch hem and a blind hem. We will focus on how to sew these by hand and touch on how to recreate the same hems on a machine. Repair a tear in non-stretchy fabric Oh no! Your garment just sprung a tear and you don't know what to do to make it look nice again! Let us guide you through how to discern the best technique for the job at hand and how to execute it. We'll focus on hand sewing but also touch upon how to re-create with your sewing machine.
