The headline act is Yellow Submarine III, a 14 year old single malt from 100% Scottish barley, matured on Islay across first-fill bourbon and French red wine casks and bottled at cask strength 54.2% ABV. Honeyed oats, crème brûlée richness and a linger of sea salt make it one of the more compelling releases in the WMD lineage. Alongside it, a 20cl of the unpeated Classic Laddie 10 Year Old offers an accessible companion from the same distillery and a neat contrast in style.
