Stunning set of 6 antique porcelain oyster plates by Haviland Limoges in an elegant white porcelain featuring five scalloped oyster wells surrounding a central sauce well. The rim is decorated with a delicate garland of pink roses accented by touches of gilt gold along the molded edge. Each oyster compartment is adorned with finely painted blue cornflowers and soft pink floral sprigs in a naturalistic style. The plate’s gently lobed shape and romantic floral decoration reflect late 19th- to early 20th-century French taste.
