c. 1981-1984; The Kirby Company - Cleveland, OH Kirby Heritage Model 1-HD upright vacuum cleaner retaining its original red patterned cloth bag, cast aluminum body, Turbo Power system, hose attachments, and accessory storage box. This model represented the introduction of Kirby's Turbo Power feature and continued the company's tradition of heavy-duty residential cleaning machines built with substantial metal construction rather than lightweight plastics. Included are the wall-mount accessory organizer, flexible hoses, wands, and assorted attachments shown, along with the original Kirby Heritage Convenience Group accessory package. Shows moderate wear consistent with age and household use including surface scratches, scuffs, oxidation, dust accumulation, finish wear, and scattered discoloration to metal and plastic components. Cloth bag shows use-related wear and staining. Accessory box exhibits creasing and edge wear. Vacuum has been tested in shop and operates as intended.
