Vintage 40s Red Alligator Crocodile Handbag

A lovely vintage 40s red leather 'gator clutch bag with brass hardware and beige suede interior. Inside has a zipped compartment with two other pockets edged with red leather. This was a fabulous quality bag of its time and is still a beauty for sure. This was a top handle strap bag but the strap has worn, so I removed it, to carry as a clutch. You could, however, replace the strap if you wished. I shall include the old one to use as a pattern. Measurements: 10" length. 5.5" height. 3" depth. Condition: Good lovely solid handbag. Exterior has minor wear on edges of the leather, the brass is a little bit tarnished, the interior suede is solid but has marks and the handle has gone as mentioned above. Priced accordingly.
