500ml Mushroom Liquid Culture Jar – Freshly Inoculated After Purchase Our 500ml Mushroom Liquid Culture is prepared fresh for every order. Instead of keeping pre-inoculated jars in storage for long periods, the liquid culture medium is inoculated with your selected mushroom culture after your order is placed. During delivery, the mycelium begins growing and developing inside the nutrient solution. By the time the jar reaches you, the culture should be developing well and ready to use or continue growing, depending on the mushroom species and delivery time. Each jar contains: 500ml water 4% honey as the nutrient source Your selected mushroom culture, inoculated after purchase Magnetic stir bar inside the jar The simple honey-and-water medium provides nutrients for healthy mycelium development while keeping the culture easy to observe. Self-Healing Injection Port The lid is fitted with a red self-healing silicone injection port. This allows you to withdraw liquid culture using a sterile syringe and needle without opening the jar, greatly reducing unnecessary exposure to airborne contaminants. Magnetic Stir Bar Included A magnetic stir bar is already placed inside every jar. When used with a magnetic stirrer, it helps: Break larger mycelium clusters into smaller pieces Distribute mycelium evenly throughout the liquid Make the culture easier to draw into a syringe Keep the culture well mixed before inoculation How to Use Before withdrawing culture, use a magnetic stirrer to distribute the mycelium throughout the jar. Clean the red silicone injection port with 70% isopropyl alcohol, then insert a sterile syringe needle and withdraw the desired amount. The culture can be used for inoculating sterilized grain, agar, or other suitable mushroom cultivation media. Storage For best results, keep the culture refrigerated if you are not planning to use it soon.
