Can Extra Virgin Olive Oil be used on its own? Yes. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is widely used both on its own and as an ingredient in cosmetic formulations. Its naturally richer texture also makes it an excellent blending oil. It can be combined with lighter botanical oils such as Jojoba, Apricot Kernel or Fractionated Coconut Oil when a lighter overall texture is desired.
