It is the sunniest of Castellaccio's sites, on the sandy soils that set Lamole apart from Lucolena.The Sangiovese ferments spontaneously in concrete and then ages in a single fine-grained tonneau, which keeps the oak in the background and gives the wine gentle micro-oxygenation. Only around 600 bottles are made.
