Red Medallion & Radiating Blue Leaf Suzani, Medium

A bold, graphic statement piece. A deep red medallion sits at the heart of this Suzani, ringed by circles of small rosettes, with bands of serrated blue leaves sweeping out towards the corners — all hand-embroidered in rich reds, blues, ochres and soft blush on a cream ground, finished with a red and cream stitched border. Sourced through two artisans I've worked with for years, one in Bukhara, one in Tashkent, each piece is chosen personally for its craftsmanship, colour and pattern, so what you're looking at is genuinely one of a kind. Beautiful draped over a sofa or armchair, laid across the end of a bed, or used to upholster a decorative chair for a real one-off. The later images show it styled in my own home.
