Their silence and carefully arranged walls of bone give the Catacombs a beauty that stays with those who visit. THE CATACOMBS takes that hidden world as the beginning of an imagined story: roses blooming in darkness, butterflies drifting between skulls, and a crescent moon above the sleeping city. Across the titanium body, those elements come together in gold, silver, violet, and blue. There is something fitting about carrying that story on a pen. We use it to record our lives, write to the people we love, and leave something of ourselves on paper. PRODUCT DETAILS WEIGHT – 1.6 oz LENGTH – 5.25 in MATERIAL – Titanium Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5) CLOSURE – Retractable Bolt Action POINT – Fine INK – Black INCLUDES – 1 FREE spare refill The smallest details give this design its character. Using titanium anodizing and precision laser anodizing, we create the artwork directly in the titanium surface. It is NOT painted, printed, or applied as a sticker. From the fine lines of a butterfly’s wings to the petals of a rose and the shading around each skull, the artwork rewards a closer look. Bringing those details around a curved titanium body demands careful placement, giving THE CATACOMBS a continuous flow from its decorated upper barrel to its tapered tip. ONE PRODUCTION. NO RE-RUNS. THE CATACOMBS is a one-time custom production run. We will make one batch only. Once production is complete, this design will not be produced again. The artwork brings together layered skulls, climbing roses, scattered butterflies, and flowing baroque ornament. Each element must sit within the narrow proportions of a titanium pen while remaining part of the larger composition. Look closely and the quieter details begin to appear: fine veins in butterfly wings, thorned stems between the skulls, and delicate scrollwork continuing toward the writing tip. These small discoveries give the design something to offer long after the first impression.
