Mid-Century Secretary Cabinet, Italy, 1960s

An elegant Italian secretary cabinet dating from circa 1960, combining rich wood grain with restrained modernist proportions. The cabinet features a warm wood structure elevated on two sculptural pedestal feet. The lower section is composed of multiple drawers arranged symmetrically, offering generous storage while creating a distinctive graphic rhythm across the façade. Above, a large drop-front door upholstered in contrasting green opens to reveal the writing compartment. The combination of richly figured wood, dark hardware and the muted green surface gives the piece a particularly refined character. Both functional and architectural, the cabinet works equally well as a writing desk, storage piece or statement cabinet. Dimensions: H 126 × W 122.5 × D 45.5 cm / H 49.6 × W 48.2 × D 17.9 in
