Roche Bobois Voyage Immobile Sofa

Roche Bobois Voyage Immobile modular sofa designed by Studio Roche Bobois in the 1990s and made in France. This configuration consists of three modules: two modules with adjustable backrests and one open module without a backrest. The low proportions and modular construction allow the elements to be arranged freely, creating a relaxed and informal seating landscape. This sofa is upholstered in the distinctive handwoven Carpe Diem fabric, a richly textured textile with warm, earthy tones and an irregular striped pattern. The tactile quality of the weave adds depth to the otherwise simple, geometric shape of the sofa. The backrests on this sofa can be raised or lowered using the mechanism, changing the character of the sofa from a low lounge setting to more upright seating. The modules are upholstered in fabric and finished with a discreet beech base. The sofa is in beautiful vintage condition with normal signs of use.
