🔥 Gano Filter See-Thru Radiator Coolant Filters — Medium, Matched Pair, New Old Stock 🔥 Flathead blocks shed rust scale, the scale ends up in the radiator core, and the first you hear about it is the gauge climbing on a hot day. The Gano Filter goes in the upper radiator hose and traps that scale and any hose debris in a double copper-alloy screen before it reaches the core. The tube is clear, so you can watch flow while the engine runs: turbulence tells you the pump and thermostat are working, and an empty tube tells you the coolant is low before it gets expensive. A flathead runs an upper hose off each head, so these go as a pair — one per side. Medium size, for 1-1/2" to 1-3/4" inside diameter hose. Both unused with bright screens, and they come with the original yellow header card, both stainless lashing wires still sealed in their bags, and the complete Gano Filter Company instruction sheets showing the Los Altos, California address and a 1998 print date. Patented design, worked out by Lloyd Gano and his son Tom off a chronic radiator problem on a 1966 Mustang; over a hundred thousand went to Mustang owners alone. Confirmed correct for the 1937–1938 Ford passenger and 1939 Ford Standard upper hose at 1-3/4" ID, and for the 1932–1948 Ford lower hose and the 1949–1953 8BA lower hose. Measure your hose before ordering — 1932–1934 Fords and the Model A run a 2" ID upper hose and need the large size, not this one. Also commonly correct for 1964½–1973 Mustang V8, Falcon, Fairlane, Ranchero, Comet, Galaxie and Bronco; 1955–1957 Chevrolet; 1967–1979 Camaro; 1962–1968 Chevy II and 1969–1975 Nova; and Corvette. Additional applications may exist beyond those listed. CONDITION New old stock and unused. Both filters have bright screens and clear tubes with only light shelf haze, and both lashing wires are still sealed. The header card has punch-hole wear and softened edges, and the instruction sheets are folded from storage, complete and legible. No size is circled on the card; the medium size was confirmed by measurement rather than by a package marking.
