Made from beautiful silk dupion, ”Marilyn” has a wonderfully structured silhouette with that distinctive natural slub and subtle sheen that makes silk dupion so special. The fitted bodice flows into a classic pencil skirt, finished with a matching waist belt for that unmistakable 1950s hourglass shape. The real fun, however, is in the detachable sash. The sash can be worn draped around the dress for a dramatic asymmetrical finish, removed completely for a cleaner cocktail-dress look, or manipulated and secured around the belt to create an oversized bow inspired by Marilyn’s iconic styling.
