Chair Rescue

Repair, refinish, and reupholster a wooden chair in one day. Register here. Chair Rescue is the first class in Object Lessons, a series of one-day workshops presented by Ellie Richards at Allied Woodshop. Ellie Richards and Lauren Verdugo team up to teach chair repair from start to finish. Students reglue loose joints, clean and refinish the frame, apply milk paint, and upholster a new slip seat. Pick a chair from our lineup or bring your own wooden chair with a drop-in seat. By the end of the day, each chair takes on a full transformation.
