Playful Supervision Pathways: Experiential Activities in Play Therapy Supervision v1.0
Description: Experiential activities have the power to deepen the supervisory relationship, but their greatest impact occurs when they are intentionally applied to meaningful play therapy supervision and clinical application. This workshop provides play therapy supervisors with a practical framework for selecting, facilitating, and processing experiential supervision activities that promote self-awareness, reflective practice, play therapy case conceptualization, clinical decision-making, and supervisee development. Participants will actively engage in experiential supervision activities designed to translate each experience into play therapy clinical reasoning, play-based prompts, meaningful supervisory questions, case conceptualization, and play therapy application. A developmental and systemic lens is integrated throughout the workshop to support intentional play therapy supervision decisions related to therapist directiveness, supervisee growth, and the broader relational and cultural contexts influencing both supervisees and play therapy clients. PRESENTER: DR. RHONDA JOHNSON LPC-S, LMFT-S, RPT-S, TBRI PRACTITIONER, EMDR CONSULTANT, SOMATIC EXPERIENCING PRACTITIONER IN TRAINING
