Vintage Black Haori - Flower Cart (Hanaguruma) -

Hanaguruma (Flower Cart) refers to a traditional decorative cart adorned with flowers, often seen in Japanese motifs. It symbolises elegance, beauty, and the graceful charm of classical Japan. The fabric is smooth, flat black with no woven patterns, beautifully decorated with a flower cart design in gold thread. The exquisite embroidery and golden family crests make this a truly exceptional piece of the highest quality. This haori is believed to be over 50 years old, so there are quite a few stains and marks on the lining, as well as some areas of white fading on the outer fabric. Please check the photos carefully. I believe the overall damage from ageing is relatively minor, but I am offering this piece at a reduced price. Normally, a haori of this quality could not be offered at this price.
