Convoy C8 UVB Flashlight 310nm Midwave with Extension Tube

The Convoy C8 UVB flashlight emits 310nm midwave ultraviolet light, a band between the common 365nm longwave and 255nm shortwave lights. It is made for mineral collectors who want to see the full picture, since some minerals respond differently, or only, under midwave UV. It uses the same grey C8 body as our other Convoy lights, with a large head and an extension tube so you can run it on one or two 18650 batteries. Midwave UV is harder to find in a handheld light, so it makes a good companion to a 365nm and a 255nm torch when you test specimens side by side. Features: Wavelength: 310nm UVB (midwave) Filter: ZWB3 glass, lets the UV through and holds back most visible light Material: anodized aluminium alloy, grey finish Extension tube included: runs on 1x or 2x 18650 batteries (not included) Large reflector head for a wide UV spot Tail lanyard holes for a wrist strap Ideal for: Midwave fluorescence testing of minerals and gemstones Comparing a specimen under longwave, midwave and shortwave UV Checking UV security features on banknotes and documents Not sure which UV flashlight is right for you?
