This PEX-a underfloor heating pipe is made from high-density polyethylene that is cross-linked using the peroxide (Engel) method. This method gives the most even cross-linking of any PEX type, which makes the pipe very flexible and gives it excellent resistance to high temperatures. It's a reliable, long-lasting choice for water-based underfloor heating in both homes and commercial buildings. The flexibility makes a real difference on site. The pipe bends easily by hand into tight loops and around corners without special tools, so laying out UFH circuits is quicker and less fiddly. It's also far less likely to kink than other pipe types, and if a kink does happen it can be easily repaired, so you don't have to cut out and replace the section. With a thermal conductivity of 0.35 W/mK, the pipe transfers heat well into the screed or floor above, giving even, comfortable warmth across the room. As well as underfloor heating, it can be used for potable water supply and radiator connections. It handles temperatures from -50°C to +110°C and pressures up to 10 bar at 95°C. Benefits PEX-a cross-linked by the peroxide (Engel) method, for the most uniform cross-linking and long-term performance Very flexible, so it bends easily by hand with no tools needed Low risk of kinking, and kinks can be easily repaired if they occur Good thermal conductivity of 0.35 W/mK for even heat output across the floor Wide temperature range from -50°C to +110°C Pressure rated up to 10 bar at 95°C Suitable for domestic and commercial underfloor heating systems Can also be used for potable water supply and radiator connections Good to know Material: PEX-a (peroxide cross-linked high-density polyethylene) Thermal conductivity: 0.35 W/mK Temperature range: -50°C to +110°C Maximum pressure: 10 bar at 95°C Applications: underfloor heating
