Ali Champ Is Back Black Varsity Jacket

“I know where I'm going and I know the truth, and I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want.” Muhammad Ali didn’t need to be told. He knew. When you zoom out to see the entire body of work, you’ll see the convictions become inspirations, and that his brand of greatness was born of action. Through triumph. Through adversity. Through three years of exile for standing up for what he believed. He knew. The heart of the “People’s Champion,” the courage to believe himself into becoming “The Greatest.” Ali is shorthand for iconic. Ali is history itself. Ali is the lyrical soundtrack to every hero, every fighter, every worthwhile struggle. Heavyweight champion. The man who “shook up the world” by upsetting Sonny Liston. The champion who gave the sports world its most storied rivalry, standing opposite Joe Frazier. The underdog who stared down “Big” George Foreman in Zaire. You can’t do that unless you know. The writing was always on the wall. And we are making that writing clear half a century later with this new Muhammad Ali Varsity Jacket. Greatness is in the details, and the spirit of Ali runs through each and every one. From “Float Like a Butterfly” to “Say My Name,” from the Watts Festival in 1967, to being banished for standing up for his beliefs. Layered patchwork across the body and sleeves, G.O.A.T. lettering across the back, and a full interior lining that continues the story from the inside out. Ali is a statement. Because when you know, you know. Officially licensed by Muhammad Ali.
