Vintage Chanel Amber Bead Necklace

DETAILS Striking and rare bead necklace from Chanel, with beads that are an unusual shape -slightly flattened rounds - and they are graduated in size from front to back. They are a wonderfully rich shades of honey colour designed to resemble the mineral Amber. Their most amazing feature is that they are double sided with a camellia flower pattern embedded in the lucite on each side of the bead, as if captured in the natural amber. Each bead is separated by a small rectangularlucite bead. The necklace fastens with a hook and there is a short extension chain finishing in a small CC charm. Signed on a Chanel plaque on the hook. From Autumn/Winter 1998 Collection (98A). Measurements Total length of the necklace is 19" (48cms) including a 2" extension chain. The three largest beads at the front of the necklace each measure 1.25" (3cms) across. This incredible necklace is in excellent condition. Comes with its own Chanel box.
