A brushed metallic face The face is a UV-stable, exterior-grade acrylic with a genuine brushed metallic surface. The texture runs through the material, so it catches the light the way brushed metal does instead of sitting flat like a printed or vinyl sign. Your numbers and street name are cut from that face on our own laser — not printed on it, not stuck to it. The result is real depth and a crisp, high-contrast read at any hour. No — it's an acrylic with a brushed metallic finish. You get the look of brushed metal in a material that's lighter, easier to mount and made to order in any layout you like. If you want genuine metal, our 316 stainless range is laser etched from real marine-grade steel. Which portrait size should I choose? This one is for a pillar or an entry wall read from the street. For a letterbox or a narrower panel, the medium portrait at 200 × 300 mm is the usual choice. Will the colour look the same in real life? Brushed finishes pick up their surroundings, so no screen quite captures them. Use the preview for layout and spacing rather than as an exact colour match. Can I order without a backing plate? Yes — choose No Base and you'll get the cut characters only, with a stencil to place them. Do you check the design before cutting? Every one. Balance, spacing and accuracy are reviewed by hand.
