Benrinnes bottlings are a staple of the Adelphi Selection. This example has been matured for fourteen years in a single Refill Oloroso Hogshead, resulting in a delightfully rich and heavy dram. Aromas of treacle, toffee and blueberries open up on the nose, followed by sweet walnuts, fruit schnapps and strawberry laces. Nutmeg and blackberry Danishes lead the palate, followed by freshly varnished oak, orange peels and biscoff, with a long and spicy finish.
