Nara Teak Bowl

A hand-carved teak bowl with a natural live edge, scaled to anchor a room. Hand-carved from teak, the Nara Teak Bowl from Pepper + Vetiver keeps the live edge of the wood intact, so its rim follows the tree rather than a template. At roughly 19" across and 3" high, it reads less like a vessel and more like a sculpted piece of wood, warm in tone and quietly substantial. Lay it flat on a coffee table or dining table with a few collected objects inside, or stand it upright on a shelf or console as a piece of wood art. It also makes a grounding base for a single sculpture or a favorite object. Because each is carved by hand and follows the natural edge of the wood, no two are alike in grain, tone, or silhouette.
