Golden Labradorite Teardrop Necklace This labradorite went in a completely different direction from the blues and greens I usually find. It flashes with warm gold, honey and smoky brown, and when the light hits it just right, the whole stone seems to light up from within. I hand soldered the teardrop with a simple silver finish and open bail, letting all those wonderful natural lines and golden color stay front and center. It certainly has an autumn feel to it, but I wouldn't limit it to fall...those warm earthy colors are pretty year round. Handmade in my home studio. Artisan Handmade Process My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin.
