Description 3/8" x 8' All-Grip Synthetic Rope Sling The 3/8" All-Grip Synthetic Rope Sling is the lightest sling in the all-Grip line — HMPE rope in an endless grommet configuration, delivering wire-rope strength at a fraction of the weight. The endless build adds roughly 60% more strength than an eye-and-eye of the same rope. HMPE stores far less energy than steel, so recoil hazard drops sharply if something lets go on scene. It's non-corrosive, maintenance-free, buoyant, and soft enough to wrap an axle, rim, or structural member without marring finish. A color-coded HMPE chafe guard protects the rope at the bearing points. At 3/8", this is the size for light-duty recovery, wheel-lift rigging, and car carrier work. Manufactured to ASME B30.9.
