Learn to Knit - 28th October

Always wanted to learn to knit but don't know where to start? Or perhaps you learned years ago and would love a little refresher? Join me at Sheffield Yarn Shop for a relaxed and friendly 2-hour beginner knitting workshop, where I'll take you through the basics step by step. By the end of the session, you'll have learnt how to: Hold your needles and yarn comfortably Cast on Knit the basic knit stitch Purl Cast off We'll practise the techniques together. No previous knitting experience is needed - just bring yourself! What's included? - All yarn and materials needed for the workshop - Knitting needles for you to use during the session - A relaxed, supportive atmosphere You'll also have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get one-to-one help during the session. Duration: 2 hours Level: Complete beginner Maximum: 6 people Come along, learn the basics, have a play with some lovely yarn and hopefully leave with the confidence to start knitting at home!
