The Pyramid Lake Tube Cracker is built for anglers targeting Lahontan cutthroat trout in one of the most unique trophy trout fisheries in the West. These Tube Crackers are offered in a focused lineup of unscented Pyramid Lake colors, including forage-inspired patterns such as Tui Chub and Sacramento Perch, along with clean baitfish profiles like Pearl. Hand-poured and built for durability, the Tube Cracker is designed to get down quickly, stay in the strike zone, and create an erratic baitfish presentation that can be fished vertically or cast and worked through the water column. No scent is added to these baits. The 1/8 oz – 1 oz jigs are equipped with an Owner Deep Throat 2X hook, while the 1.5 oz – 4 oz sizes feature Owner 5319 3X saltwater hooks. This isn’t a generic trout jig — it’s designed for: Casting from shore toward ledges and drop-offs Vertical jigging from a boat Fishing deeper water and suspended trout Working baitfish schools Covering different depths quickly Triggering reaction bites on the fall Why the Tube Cracker Works Balanced fall rate for a natural baitfish presentation Fast-sinking profile for reaching deeper water Durable hand-dipped construction Unscented formula Custom Pyramid Lake color patterns Versatile for casting or vertical jigging Built for trophy Lahontan cutthroat trout Designed Primarily For Lahontan Cutthroat Trout Built for Pyramid Lake Fishing Pyramid Lake demands a bait that can be fished effectively through a wide range of depths and conditions. The Tube Cracker’s streamlined profile allows anglers to get down quickly, work deeper water efficiently, and move through the water column while maintaining an erratic, injured-baitfish action. Whether you're casting from shore, jigging vertically from a boat, or working fish around bait schools, Tube Crackers give you the ability to adjust depth and presentation without changing bait styles. Pyramid Lake Color Lineup Tui Chub A natural forage-inspired pattern built around one of Pyramid Lake’s key baitfish. Sacramento Perch A forage-inspired pattern designed to imitate another important food source in the Pyramid Lake ecosystem. Pearl A clean, highly visible baitfish profile that offers a simple, proven presentation across a wide range of conditions. Red Mist Black silhouette with subtle red flake for contrast in deep or low-light conditions. Additional Pyramid Lake colors may be added as the lineup develops. Fish the Fall One of the Tube Cracker’s biggest strengths is its action as it drops. Cast it, let it sink to the desired depth, then work it with a combination of snaps, lifts, pauses and controlled falls. When fishing vertically, adjust your depth to keep the bait in the zone where trout are holding. The goal is to imitate an injured, fleeing or vulnerable baitfish and trigger the predatory response of a Lahontan cutthroat. Unscented for Pyramid Lake These Pyramid Lake Tube Crackers are produced without added scent. Anglers should always review current Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe fishing regulations and permit requirements before fishing. Built for Pyramid. Built for Lahontans. Built to get bit.
