SoftRide Eggbutt Snaffle

The SoftRide mouthpiece features a simple double-jointed design with a smooth copper lozenge, created to encourage relaxation and clearer acceptance of the contact. The cannons are rubber coated to provide a warmer, softer feel while maintaining clear communication through the reins. Copper is a naturally warm metal, which can feel more comfortable in the mouth compared to stainless steel. Combined with the rubber-coated cannons, this helps reduce sharp sensations and sudden pressure changes. At 12 mm thick, the SoftRide mouthpiece is well suited for horses with limited space in the mouth that benefit from a lighter, more forgiving double-jointed snaffle and a calm, steady connection. Eggbutt cheekpiece is a simple cheekpiece without leverage. It provides more stability than loose ring bits, which often makes it a great choice for young horses still learning, more sensitive and reactive horses and riders with less experienced hands. This bit is not suitable for horses with very sensitive tongue.
