Each mini pie in this pack is made by hand at The Bread & Butter Project's Marrickville bakery, a social enterprise that trains refugees and people seeking asylum in the craft of professional baking. The result is a golden, flaky pastry shell with a filling that actually tastes of something: two Ham & Swiss Cheese pies with smoked Australian pork, melted Swiss, and a whisper of tomato relish; and two Spinach & Feta pies with wilted spinach, ricotta, and creamy feta, lightly seasoned and perfectly balanced.
