Annette Voll violin #23, after Guarneri del Gesu “Ysaye” 1740

Highly experienced German-born violin maker Annette Voll trained at the world-renowned violin making school in Mittenwald. After graduating in 1994, she expanded her knowledge and skill in workshops in Netherlands and New Zealand, gaining her German Master’s Certificate in 2002, before establishing her own workshop in 2010 here in Auckland. This beautiful violin is modelled on the “Ysaye” violin by Guarneri del Gesu. The tone has both depth and clarity, with a very creamy, colourful texture, and plenty of versatility and charm.
