Hail, Reaper. This handcrafted vessel is a second- meaning it has a a small defect that did not pass our craftsmanship standards- but still functions perfectly fine. Rather than give them up to the "old gods" we decided to let these vessels "live for more" and offer them as discounted options for collectors who wish to rescue them from the shard pile. The second quality could refer to a small chip in the pot, a little glaze mistake, or a faded/crooked design application. In any instance- the vessel is still functional and would serve a new home happily. Any mug that features a color or black illustration only can be put in the microwave.
