What really differentiates a top-quality Soave from the common ones is the vineyard topography and its soils - and the Soave Classico Battistelle has it all. The vines grow in Volcanic basalt soils, on dry- stone wall terraces, in the most steeped area of the appellation. If you don´t exactly know what this means, don´t worry, after the first glass of Battistelle youu will understand what that “Heroic Viticulture” logo on the label means. It is not by chance that the experienced couple Cristina & Gelmino and their daughter Gloria decided to give their family name to this wine. Perfectly balanced with a mix of aromatic herbs, white flowers, and citrus fruits, Battistelle has a beautiful structure and a distinctive mineral note that is a gift from the volcanic soil. We recommend pairing it with seafood dishes, pasta and risottos, chicken, and semi-hard cheeses.
