Made in Sheffield, England in 1843, Thomas and Nathaniel Creswick set of 4 sterling silver candlesticks from 1843, decorated with acanthus leaves on bases and bobeches, with a baluster form stem. They measure 10 1/4'' in height by 5 1/2'' in diameter at the base, are weighted, and bear hallmarks as shown. Thomas James and Nathaniel Creswick were silversmiths from Sheffield, England. One of their pieces is in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Please feel free to ask us any questions, and please see our other listings.
