Carreg Las - blue sheep's cheese

Carreg Las is our Ewe’s milk blue cheese. Similar in style to our Perl Las this soft blue has a creamy flavour, slightly saltier, a delicate texture and a clean taste. This is a very special cheese, made with fresh milk from Gareth and Nia Daniel's, single flock of sheep, based in Machynlleth. Sheep's milk has a different fat structure and higher levels of amino acid compared to that of cow's milk, making it is easier to digest. Sheep's milk also has much higher levels of natural lactoferrin than cow's and goats milk, which is fantastic for our immunity and digestive health! You can purchase as a quarter wheel or half wheel. The cheese can be frozen if neccessary.
