Fishing, 1938 Artist: Helen Louise Beccard Niles Oil on paper, 13 x 23 inches Signed and dated lower right Helen Louise Beccard taught painting at St. Genevieve school in Missouri. She also worked with Joe Jones, head of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in Missouri 1934-1935. She was an instructor at the St. Genevieve Art Colony. She also taught painting and drawing in NYC in the 1940’s.
