But first, she must complete several jobs and learn what it takes to be a honey bee. Join her as she makes her way out of the hive. Written by Olympia Terral Illustrated by Constance Sartor Olympia Terral is a beekeeper who is madly in love with her bees. She has lived in the hills of Sånta Rita with her boonie dogs since 1990. She can see her beehives from her kitchen window and is always on the watch for greater banded hornets and cane toads so she can catch them before they eat her bees. One of her greatest joys is reading books to young people. She is also the author of the picture book Mother Tree. Constance Sartor is an artist who has been fascinated by nature since she was very young. Her particular interest in insects began in the fourth grade. She even used to raise trap jaw ants, known for their powerful bite. Her favorite thing to do is create art of all types and sizes, from children books illustrations to murals. Through her artwork, Constance hopes to spark a love for nature and encourage others to care for the environment. She also illustrated Tåsi, Tåno', and Pulan.
