Set of 6 Postmodern Green Bent Rattan Dining Chair in the Style of Axel Enthoven

Wonderful set of six vintage postmodern dining or occasional chairs in the style of Axel Enthoven, featuring sculptural bent rattan or pencil-reed frames finished in a deep lacquered forest green. Each chair is constructed with repeated rounded reeds that form a continuous architectural loop from the backrest into the arms and legs, creating a bold ribbed silhouette with excellent depth and movement. The chairs have a playful yet sophisticated 1970s–1980s design presence, blending European postmodern influence with tropical modern, coastal modern, and Hollywood Regency style. The rounded forms, stacked reed construction, and waterfall-style legs give the set a highly decorative and sculptural look from every angle.
