1961 Hamilton Talbot

Serviced May 2026, excellent original silver dial with spotted grid detail, polished 10k white gold filled case, unworn genuine leather strap, NOS acrylic crystal, signed crown, alloy mainspring. Hamilton produced the Talbot starting in 1961 and was a popular model at the time as it ran through 1967. The case on this example is 10k white gold filled and has been hand polished. The case back is stainless steel. There is no plate wear evident but there are some swirls. The original silver dial exhibits the unique spotted grid pattern along with the original rhodium plated numerals and markers. The dial is in very good condition with honest patina. The paint for the Hamilton branding and sub seconds detail is excellent . The hands appear to be original and show little to no patina. A NOS curved acrylic crystal was installed during service. The watch is ready to wear on an unworn brown genuine leather two piece strap with white hardware. The American made 730 movement was serviced May 2026 and is running well and currently performing at +/- 10 seconds per day. Size: 26.2mm wide(excluding the crown) 28.0mm length 9.8mm Tall 17.0mm Lug to Lug 36.2mm Tip to Tip Case - Hand polished 10k white gold filled bezel and stainless steel case back. There is some fine scratching on the bezel and case back. Lugs - Little to no plate wear evident. Crystal - NOS curved acrylic crystal installed during service. Hands - Appear to be original with little to no light patina. Dial - Original, very condition dial. Silver finish, spotted grid detail, original applied numerals and hour markers, painted sub second register at 6 o'clock. Paint on the dial is in mint condition. Honest patina. Band - Unworn brown genuine leather strap with white buckle . Movement - American made Hamilton caliber 730, manual wind, 17 jewels. Fully serviced May 2026. Runs strong and keeping excellent time.
